Set Up Surcharging on Move5000

Below are the steps to follow in order to set up surcharging for payments made using your Move5000.

  1. Press Menu button
  2. Press 4 for Terminal
  3. Press 5 for Surcharging
  4. Press Enter
  5. Use F2 and F3 buttons to scroll to Issuer, press Enter
  6. Press 1 to enter Fixed Fee OR 2 to enter a Percentage
  7. Set the surcharge amounts for each scheme.
    Once set, the surcharge amount set for each card scheme will display in the Select Issuer list. 
    • Fixed Fee Maximum: Enter the fixed fee of the total rate, and press Enter, OR;
    • Percentage Maximum: Enter the percentage of the total rate, press Enter to confirm the
      value entered
  8. Repeat steps 5 to 7 for each card scheme or type, to apply a surcharge value for each.
  9. OPTIONAL: Press OK to print a surcharge summary receipt.
  10. Press Cancel to exit the surcharge menu when complete.
