CP Merchant Surcharge Settings
If you choose to add a surcharge for Card Present (CP) devices (m10 & WisePad 3), you must set one rate that will apply regardless of the card scheme. This can be a dollar value or percentage and must be calculated based on your cost of acceptance.
Please note: Mint gives your business the ability to alter surcharges in the case you decide to absorb the surcharge fee either partially or in full. It is your responsibility as the merchant to surcharge responsibly and in line with the requirements from the ACCC.
For more information on surcharges check out our guide on calculating your cost of acceptance or visit the ACCC website.
